Mani (Raza Murad) a cinema director wants to make a film on the activities of a dishonest swami (Madan Puri). He murdered Mani's father. His men murder Mani. Film actor Ravi Kumar (Shashi Kapoor) is charged with the murder. Ravi Kumar with the help of one "daku" Sher singh (Pran) who was a fan of Ravi Kumar.They come to the swami and plant one reporter Sita (Rekha) who's brother was involved with the swami's group . Finally Ravi Kumar and Sher Singh and Sita expose the activities of the dishonest swami. The swami's men abduct (Amjad Khan ) in order to free the swami. But all ends well when the police come and arrested all and Sher Singh surrenders.
