Story
Mallika and Ghetu are sisters who are completely opposite to each other in beauty, behaviour and accomplishments. The ugly and wild Ghetu is scolded by everyone at home except her young uncle, Suranjan, who loves her. As days pass, Mallika grows up to be a perfect girl and Ghetu plays with local boys. However Ghetu has a lover with whom she dreams of having a loving home of her own. Only Suranjan knows her secret. Ghetu's lover is poor and tries all the times to get a job, but fails . His health deteriorates. In the midst of Mallika's grand marriage, Suranjan comes to know that Ghetu's lover is dead, and with him, her dreams.
