Chori Chori 1956

Chori Chori is a 1956 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1956. The film is directed by Anant Thakur.

The story shown with Kammo (Nargis) daughter of a millionaires whose is on boat arrest, by her father as she is in love with (Suman) Pran whi is know to ditched 2 of his earlier marriage, and is known for tapping high society females. Kammo elopes from the boat and manage to get herself in a bus. Enroutes to Bangalore in her mean while her father gives her lost child advertisement in print and radio. Kammo meets Sagar a bedding reporter who comes to known about her, and decides to help her reach her destination and things of making it big by writing a story of his trip with Kammo. But destiny had something else for them, they both fall for eachother, but didn't express their feeling to eachother. On one such, occasion, Sagar did express, but Kammo didn't listen as she was fast a sleep. He leaves her with a note, to arrange some money for his marriage with her. Mean while Kammo is thrown out of the lodge, who in return calls her father and goes home. She decides to get married to Suman. On her wedding day, Sagar comes and questions her and they both clear their respectives misunderstanding and this time again she elopes, with the person she wanted to. THE END P.S: The story is worth watching and has resemblance to "Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi" which is picturised on Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt. Infact "Chori Chori" is copied by making some minor changes.

On her way to Bangalore Kammo meets Sagar (Raj Kapoor) a budding reporter who comes to know about her and decides to help her reach her destination. In doing so he hopes to write a report on Kammo's journey. But destiny had something else in store for them, they fall in love with each other, but cannot express their feeling for each other. On one occasion when Sagar did express his love Kammo could not hear as she was asleep. He leaves a note for her and goes off to arrange some money for their marriage. Meanwhile Kammo is thrown out of the lodge by the lodge owner who in return calls her father and takes her home. She decides to marry Suman. On Kammo's wedding day, Sagar comes and questions her and they clear their misunderstanding and elope.

A lively comedy derived from Capras It Happened One Night (1934). A millionaires daughter affectionately nicknamed Baby (Nargis) wants to marry a man her father knows to be a gold-digger. Annoyed by her father, she runs away and meets the impoverished journalist Suman (Kapoor). Together they journey through South India and they fall in love.
