Director Aditya Sarpotdar’s Classmates focuses on a group of college friends and their life after college. Such a subject instantly reminds you of Sanjay Jadhav’s Duniyadari. Funnily enough, Classmates turns out to be like a remake of Duniyadari, with the additional elements of political war and suspense woven into the main plot. In spite of this, the film keeps your interest alive only to dish out some disappointment in the end. The story commences in 2015 when a group of friends inaugurates a music section in the college from where they passed out. Starting a music section in the college was a dream of their friend who is no more. A shocking incident just after the inauguration forces them to go recall their college days during the final year 20 years ago.

Dates back in the college days! The story takes you back in the college days. Well, no one can give you that happiness which those college days can. The film is all about a carefree life that revolves around the life of few friends. The main bottom line of the story is how these friends go on doing their graduation degree with so much fun and excitement. The movie lingers around the college campus and college life. The story is about eight friends who have been living in those days of college. But suddenly, their friendship turns out to be torn apart due to the competition riots mainly in the form of ‘college elections’. The story somewhere can connect a common person who had some days shared the same stories in their college lives. The film’s theme is based on the golden days of college with friends. Those wooden benches, sports days, college events, morning shows, gatherings and many other things all combined in a single pack. The film’s director, Aditya Sarpotdar did completely connecting direction. I mean, you really can’t even forget that the film won’t connect to you. Talking about the performances, Sai Tamhankar did justice with her ‘Tomboy’ image. Ankush Chaudhari’s performance makes you feel like a college brat. Then there is Sonalee Kulkarni whose role is silent yet perfect. Sidhharth Chandekar steals your hearts with his million gold screen presence. Sachit Patil’s character in the film is good to watch. There are many exciting portions in the film, which will make you nostalgic and young again. If you want to do something worth exciting in the weekends, then this is the story that will help you in re-cherishing those lost college days again. So just, call up for a reunion and go to watch this smashing and dynamic movie. The film has good music with a spellbinding cinematography. The college campus rocks in the movie. The story leaves you glued up to the expectations. It will make you go completely insane. The story has a good suspense and it will make you feel fresh. The film has some portions of suspense characters, which will help you in catching the best of everything. The movie is for the sake of refreshment and you should atleast give a try to watch this. A weekend’s relaxation is this movie ‘CLASSMATES’. The film is worth watching and has excitement sections with eye-catching visuals in all the segments.
