Story
The picture gets a start with Bharat (played by Manoj Kumar). Bharat is a sincere clerk working in the defense department. Bharat Kumar’s daddy is suffering from some health issues and his health is getting worsened every day. The tragedies strike their family and his sister is sexually assaulted and his brother is arrested by the police officer. Then enters a girl Rekha in his life who makes him understand that only money can improve their situation. So he is helped by Vijay Kapoor (played by Shashi Kapoor)'s gang. When his dad gets to know this Bharat is engaged in bad company he is very depressed. Mr.Khan (played by Rajendra Kumar) seeks him to abandon Vijay Kapoor's gang and work for the India. The end is shown with Bharat cascading a red operation so as to take his revenge back from that crooks and dacoits.
