Dharamdas (Sayen Kapoo) is a rich business man gets married to Tara (Seema Deo). They give birth to a son, Moti. Soon Dharamdas’ business starts suffering losses and his near and dear ones duggest that his wife and son has brought ill luck to him. He thus asks them to leave the house and they recolate to a slum. Moti is renamed Jeetu and he grows up as to be a dashing young man (Vinod Mehra) and studies engineering. He does a mechanic’s job to take care of his family needs with Alibhai Motorwala. He meets and falls in love with Kamini (Bindiya Goswami), a girl from poor family. One day a person takes refuge in Kamini’s house with help of Mrs Pyarelal, who is unknown of the fact that he is her husband’s killer. Mrs. Pyarelal is shocked to see the same person with Kamini and not just refuse the proposal, she calls the police and has Jeetu arrested. Did Jeetu actually kill Pyarelal? What happens to Jeetu and Kamini’s relationship?

Fazloo, the hired assassin of Bihari, a notorious smuggler, has a change of heart when he is made to murder Pyarelal, a customs cclerk. The plight of Pyarelals family comprising of his young wife, sister and a blind five -year-old daughter awakens the human in him. He give up his bad habits and on befriending Jeetu-who is the kidnapped son of a rich seth now working as a mechanic-saves the latter from the gallow when Jeetu is accused of the murder of Pyarelal by turning himself over.
