Dada is a 2007 Indian Telugu action, romance film released on Aug 06, 2007. The film is directed by A R Murugados, produced by C Yuvaraju under banner named Gayatri Movies. This is another movie in queue and which attracted producers to dub the movie and cash the craze of Murugadas in Telugu. The story is nothing but a mix of many old stories. Raghava Reddy(Suresh Gopi) is a bigwig and cant tolerate any injustice to the people. Rudra Murthy(Ajith) is a orphan and brought up by Raghava Reddy. Raghava Reddy treats Rudra Murthy as his own brother.Rudra Murthy accidentally meets Chithra(Laila) and falls in love with her. Chithra tells to Rudra that she likes fights and Rudra reveals his identity that he is a street rowdy. Now the story takes a turn, when Rudra's companions tell Rudra that some guy named Ashok is teasing Shanthi(Sister of Raghav Reddy and Rudra). Rudra looses his temper and bashes Ashok. When Rudra heard that he repeated the act again, he went to his his residential area and smashes him severely. Then he comes to know that Ashok is brother of Chithra and he spares him.When Raghava Reddy decides to get Shanti married to a police officer, Shanti decides to elope with Ashok. She dies after meeting with an accident, when they are trying to escape a chase from Raghava Reddy's gang.On the death bed Shanthi pleads Rudra to save Ashok and his family from Raghava Reddy.Irked over the death of Shanthi, Raghava Reddy tells Rudra to kill Ashok's family, for which Rudra denies. Rest of the movie deals with how Rudra fought and saved Ashok's Family? How Raghav Reddy realizes his mistake?
