Darr is a 1993 Indian Bollywood thriller, romance film released on Dec 24, 1993. The film is directed by Yash Chopra, produced by Yash Chopra under banner named Yash Raj Films.
This is the story of Kiran. She lives in a hostel and expects her fiancée Sunil to meet her. But, Sunil being a merchant navy officer is not able to take Kiran. But, it is Rahul who is in one-sided love with Kiran and wants to gain her at any cost. But, Kiran now goes to her family and meets Sunil. Sunil’s and Kiran’s marriage is fixed and they are about to get married soon. Meanwhile, Rahul meets Sunil and Kiran as a well-wisher. So, Sunil gives Rahul his wedding invitation. Seeing this, Rahul turns made and tries every possible thing to stop Kiran from getting married to Sunil. But, Sunil and Kiran get marry and both go to their honeymoon. Now, even here Rahul follows them and distracts Sunil and Kiran in every possible manner. But, after Sunil comes to know about rahul’s behavior, he fights for Kiran and the story ends.

The movie revolves around the two men in Kiran Awasthi's (Juhi Chawla) life, the dashing, brave Navy officer Sunil (Sunny Deol), who loves her passionately, and whom she loves as well and a psychotic admirer Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), who has been obsessed with her since college and won't hesitate to eliminate anybody who interferes with his jealous desire.
