De Dhakka is a 2008 Indian Marathi comedy, drama film released on May 16, 2008. The film is directed by Atul Kale.
The story goes around Jadhav family. Makrand after spending his money invents an auto, which takes less fuel. This common man has his family consisting of his 2 children, his wife and his father. His daughter chiyuu gets a chance to be in a dance competition in Mumbai. But being from a rural background, he is in great depression of how he would take his daughter. Then he decides to take her by his invented auto. But in the mid of the journey, he has to face many problems. Then in the end, he along with his family takes her to the dance competition. She dances in the competition and makes her family proud. Then after returning from Mumbai, an officer gives him a cheque and asks him to share his tactics of how he invented his low fuel auto. The film ends on a very promising note.
