Dedh Ishqiya is a 2014 Indian Bollywood thriller, drama, romance film released on Jan 10, 2014. The film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, produced by Vishal Bhardwaj under banner named Shemaroo Entertainment, music composed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
This is the story of Khalujan and his nephew named as Babban. These two consider themselves as Nawab and they run away from a jewelry shop taking the necklace. In police case, these two are separated. Then Babban finds Khalujan. Then again they dress themselves like Nawabs in the poetry competition. This is organized by Begum Para who is actually widowed begum of Mahmudabad.The winner would take the Begum as his bride. The master would then become the Nawab of Mohammad. Then, one night Babban falls in love with Para’s assistant named as Muniya.Then actually, these both try every possible thing to impress these ladies. One day, a kidnap is arranged for Begum by the gangster named as Jaan Muhammad. Then after this, Begum declares Jaan Mohammad as the Nawab. Then, Khauljaan is very depressed with this and then he comes to know that the Begum arranged for her fake kidnapping because her husband left her bankrupt. The end is shown that all four of them go to collect the money from Jaan Mohammad, but are surrounded by his goons. Then after this, Begum and Muniya take the amount and run and these two are jailed.
