Dil Aashna Hai 1992

Dil Aashna Hai is a 1992 Indian Bollywood romance, drama, social film released on Dec 25, 1992. The film is directed by Hema Malini, produced by Hema Malini.
This is the story of Laila. She is a cabaret dancer in Digvijay Singh's five star restaurants. One day her dying mother tells her that she is her adopted girl. Laila is looked after by Karan in her search for the mother. One day, she meets with Razia who tells her everything about her life. She tells her about her past life, eighteen years back.Narrating the story she tells her that there were three naughty friends in her college named as Salma, Barkha, and Raj. All of them were in love with their beaus and in this one of them delivered a baby girl. All of them took care of that girl as if it was their own. The baby was then given to Razia. Now all three girls are living their own life and they have a good reputation in the society. But, Laila has to get her mother back and find out who is her caretaker.

This story is based on love of mother, Laila(divya Bharti), who has been brought up in a brothel and works as a cabaret dancer in a five star hotel. On the wedding of Karan's( Shah Rukh Khan) he met Laila and Karan falls in love with her. The same evening, she receives a phone call from her dying mother informing her that she is not her real mother.Karan helps her in her search for her real mother. He was willing to do anything for her. To find her mother . Karan searches and finally he found three possibilities of mother. She is Razia(Farida Jalal), who divulges that eighteen years ago there were three naughty students in her college. Barkha(Dimple), Salma(Sonu Walia) and Raaj(Amrita Singh). Fell in love and one of them got pregnant. Laila was the child that was born. After some time Laila was handed over to Razia. And three of them got settled in their life and they were informed Laila is missing. Karan had issues of his Qun. His father couldn't stand to see his son paying attention to a court sesan. He was told to leave his love alone and leave it a night friendship. He decided that she was worth it to him and for his relationship to continue. When Laila brings them together, none of them have the courage to accept her but after many intrguing events the real birth mother finally accepts Laila.

Karan and Laila meet all the three ladies and ask them the same question, who is Lalia’s mother. Will she be able to find the truth from them?
