This is a love story between an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl. The story starts with Major Ram is one of the few soldiers from the Indian Army who have been held captive in Pakistan, just after the war. The Indian army and politicians are not able to make any decision regarding what should be done and what not to be done. Major Ram's brother, Arjun, aka Sunny decides to take it upon himself to go to Pakistan and free his brother. He now names himself as Salman. Then in between his journey, he meets with beautiful Ruksar and both fall in love with each other. But, things don’t work and they cannot be married, so they escape, leading to unrest within their society, and then starts the actual hunting for them. Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa is a love story between an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl. Salman and Ruksar chance upon the prison camp that is housing Ram, and do get him free, only to find themselves trapped by Pakistani Jihaadis and soldiers.
