Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa is a 2003 Indian Bollywood drama, romance film released on Dec 12, 2003. The film is directed by Sawan Kumar, produced by Sawan Kumar , music composed by Usha Khanna.
The story starts with Major Ram is one of the few soldiers from the Indian Army who have been held enslaved in Pakistan, following the war with India. The Indian army and politicians are not able to make any decision so as not to imperil the lives of the captives. Major Ram's brother twin, Arjun, alias Sunny concludes to take it upon him to enter Pakistan and get his brother free. He calls himself Salman. On the way he meets with cheerful Ruksar and both fall in love. Unfortunately for them, they cannot get married, so they run off, leading to an anxiety within their community, and an inquiry is on for them. Salman and Ruksar chance upon the lockup camp that is housing Ram, and do get him free, only to search themselves captured by Pakistani Jihadis and soldiers.
