Do Ankhen Barah Haath is a 1957 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1957. The film is directed by V. Shantaram, produced by V. Shantaram under banner named Rajkamal Kalamandir.

Do Ankhen Barah Haath revolves around a young and reform-minded warden who gets the permission to take six murderers out on a country farm to help them rehabilitate it and help them live the life through hard work and kindly guidance.

This movie is about a young warden named Adinath (Raja Ram Vankudre Shantaram) who takes up a challenge to change six criminals into good human beings, on the condition that if he succeeds in doing this, the authorities will release them. The young warden takes permission from his seniors and takes them to a barren land. They start living there and he makes them do agricultural work. He tries his best to make these criminals into good human beings.

In this process he meets a local toy seller named Champa (Sandhya) who helps him in his task. He faces several problems and challenges in his task but never gives up.

Stylised parable about human virtue. An idealistic cop, Adinath (Shantaram), believing people to be fundamentally good, takes six simple-minded murderers to a desolate area and sets up a farming commune. In spite of the threats of violence, they produce a decent farm and come into conflict with the virtuous citizens in a nearby village who see their economic interests threatened and reveal themselves to be the real nasties. Shantarams characteristic neo-expressiuonist imagery is much in evidence, e.g. juxtaposing eyes. In one of the more successful sequences, armed men are depicted in looming shadows in extreme long shot. Sandhya plays Champa, an inheritant seller of childrens toys who befriends all the prisoners and the only female in this oppressively male world.
