Undoubtedly the best! The film undoubtedly is the best that works with many characters. The film highlights the life of Dr. Prakash Amte, the son of social server Late. Shri Baba Amte. The movie shows the life of Dr. Prakash Amte and his struggle in making the world a better place in Hemalkasa. His life was dedicated in the upliftment of lepers who were living a very poor life. The film was created in extracting the good deeds of Dr. Prakash Amte. He chooses between the comforts of the city life and starts working for the betterment of the nation. He is a medical practitioner and is working for the betterment of those poor ‘adivasis’ who have struggled hard to live a comfortable life. The movie highlights the life of Dr. Amte and his struggles, his good deeds and his work. Dr. Prakash Amte had received worldwide recognisation for his work and his social service to the poor. He is supported by a troop of hard working people who lived only for helping him in his objective. It is said that ‘A woman’s support strongly decides the path of the man’s life’, such was the case with Dr. Amte. He was supported by his wife Dr. Mandakini Amte even today and even during his struggles. The film highlights the compatibility and love which these two shared equally in all the phases of their lives. The film makes you stick to the television screens and to your theater screens. The film has shown many important chapters of Dr. Amte’s life in 2 hours. The story is delivered in the form of a narration narrated by this Nana and Sonali. The couple had won the Ramon Magsaysay award. The film’s prominent characters Nana Patekar and Sonali Kulkarni have done complete justice to their roles. All this film needed was just a normal script and touchy dialogues which itself is the turning point of the film. The film had received a lot of mouth appraisals from well known Bollywood personalities and theatre artists too. Nana Patekar had captured every emotion of Dr. Prakash Amte’s life very beautifully. Sonali Kulkarni’s work till date is her role in this film. The first half and the second half both of them have got perfect flow of emotions and stories running beautifully. It was Dr. Amte’s contribution for the society, which turned out to be unbelievable. Even today, his story is the measurable story that has touched millions of lives. This movie is truly amazing and an inspiring movie for today’s generation who want to serve this society. This movie will stand as a perfect example for those who have been to Hemalkasa. This movie is surely for the people of every age. You can take your cousins, your parents and even your friends to watch this movie. The cinematography is light and this is adds life to the movie. The dialogues have been very keenly written in this movie. The film is an unbelievable journey of a man his companion who accompanied him in very little phase of his life. Yes we surely admired social servant Late. Shri Baba Amte and Late. Mrs. Sadhanatai Amte, but even their child turned out to set an excellent example for every ‘Shravan kumar’ in the family.

Uncooked story. It could have been better film

Both Nana Patekar and Sonali Kulkarni are acted well. The direction is not up to the mark. The story has potential but director has not utilized it well. I would like to give average rating for Nana's acting and story.
