Ei Prithibi Tomar Aamar is a 2009 Indian Bengali romance film released on Mar 27, 2009. The film is directed by Swapan Saha, produced by Bappa Sarkar.

Shibu is a hawker on the streets who sells toys. His mother dies unattended at a hospital due to lack of funds. One day he rescues a girl Purnima from a truck from goons. She turns out to be a student living in an ashram in Siliguri. When she gores back, she is asked to leave the ashram. Shibu and Purnima decide to take a lift in a car to Siliguri. The driver gives Shibu a piece of paper containing the name of a person whom he could contact for any help. On the way, some goons bump off the driver as the driver turns out to be a bad man himself. Shibu goes and meets the contact Mama, a tout in the motor vehicles dept also involved in bad company. He helps Shibu in every way possibly he can. Shibu meets a couple of goons Bobby and his elder brother through Mama. He also gets beaten up without protesting for having accepted money to pay for Purnima’s exam fees. Shibu&Purnima make an old, abandoned bus their shelter. Meanwhile the cat and mouse game with the cops continue as Shibu gets involved in bad company. One of the members of Bobby’s gang eyes Purnima and becomes obsessed with Purnima, but Shibu puts an end to his advances. Bobby confronts Shibu regarding this matter and is injured by Shibu.He is admitted to a hospital. Bobby’s elder brother vows to finish off Shibu if Bobby dies. Bobby’s elder brother comes to know that Bobby is dead although it is not Shibu, but a nurse at the hospital (her husband was murdered by Bobby) who has killed him. The cops also think that Shibu has killed Bobby. They tell Purnima that if they bring him to them, they would see that he would get minimum punishment and no harm would come to him.Shibu comes home to Purnima but both of them commit suicide although the police had surrounded their house from all sides.
