Force 2 is not a great one for spreading the message of peace.  It would rather do its job of giving us stunts that keep us riveted  to our seats.But it does bring up the issue of a very disturbing political tragedy  whereby those who are caught spying are disowned by  their own country. It’s a chilling thought on betrayal and loss, not quite the mood that this upbeat fiery and feisty actioner wants to dwell on. But it really can’t really help acquiring a conscience while taking a well-aimed shot at giving Hollywood stunts films a run for their money.

This film is a must watch for all the film lovers. It is one of the few Indian espionage thrillers on the India China relationship and it isn’t too preachy. Go for this one and you’ll be hooked for sure till the end.

Force 2 is a Bollywood action entertainer. Don’t go with high hopes and you’ll surprise yourself.

Force 2 is a great watch mainly because it stays true to its genre and provides ample adrenaline rush. John Abraham is in top form and the film has some of the best action sequences shot this year. Force 2 has loads of bang worth your buck.

Force 2 raises a tricky point. Should RAW agents be named and called martyrs instead of the country washing its hands off them if they’re killed in service?Maybe the government will be able to answer that. As for us commoners, Force 2 is a decent one-time watch. Just make sure your ears are seasoned to bear loud noise.

All said and done, Force 2 should be watched for its stellar action sequences. They’re high on both quality and quantity. If you’ve grown up enjoying the careers of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, this film can provide a very satisfactory experience.

Spy series are inherently masculine and Force 2 doesn’t do much to correct that. We have the token heroic introductory scenes to underline how indestructible Abraham is. There’s even a shirtless scene, showcasing his gleaming torso, inserted in the first ten minutes.

At the end of its 127 minutes run amidst relentless gunshots and car crashes, charm (on Force 2’s end) and clemency (on mine) has run its course. What prevails is more phew than force.

It’s the sheer predictability of this narrative form that drags Force 2 down a few notches. Be that as it may, it is an entertainer that passes muster. And if you are a John Abraham fan, there can be no reason whatever to give Force 2 a miss.

Mumbai Police officer ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) once again kicks, punches and shoots his way to the baddie, his biceps flexed permanently, his dimple flashing rarely. This time the bad guy is killing RAW agents one by one. In this mission, he has to assist a RAW agent (Sonakshi Sinha) who is a stickler about protocols and obeying orders. The film could have done with a dose of humor, but thankfully there’s no romance between the two lead actors to dilute this relentless action-packed bullet

Force 2 offers nothing that you have not seen before, yet entertains you. It is an ideal watch for John and Sonakshi fans.

‘Force 2’ has some power-packed action and some power-less emotional scenes due to which the movie ends up being only a one time watch.

Well, go for it if you nothing else to do this weekend. No, you won’t regret your decision for some of the best moments are given by Tahir Raj Bhasin, He is a pure delight to watch on screen.

The one thing, you can’t question is Abhinay Deo’s intentions. He does his best to make a nifty thriller that doesn’t give you a minute to breathe and takes you on a roller coaster ride, which any adrenaline junkie will enjoy. The evolved movie-goers, however, need more than just time pass. There’s so much to enjoy yet it’s just not enough.

Force 2 isn’t unwatchable, and it won’t give you a migraine either. But it is a wildly inconsistent film that fills up the gaps between its many action sequences with ridiculous attempts at humor and drama. Hopefully this franchise ends here.

Force 2 has a noble heart. It wants to get the undercover agents, who selflessly serve the nation, their due. But the narrative hasn’t taken a favourable shape. Sadly, it’s mostly about muscles and very less about intelligence.

The fundamental flaw in a film like this — other than the repetitive wowlessness of it all — is the fact that by creating too dry and no-nonsense protagonists instead of fleshing them out as characters, you end up failing the genre. There is only one thing a smashing action movie should aim to be: fantastic nonsense. 

FORCE 2 is a power packed adrenaline pumping action thriller which has the right mixture of zing and force. At the Box-Office, the film will be appreciated by the audience. However the lack of chartbuster music, romance and demonetisation might act as a spoilsport for the movie. All in all, FORCE 2 is however worth a shot!

When you spoil a good movie by doing a bad sequel then the crime gets doubled, but FORCE 2 is in an altogether different zone, I questioned the logic behind the remake of the lousy HIMMATWALA and now I need a spy to understand what was so great about FORCE that we had a forced FORCE 2 as a sequel.

Adrenaline junkies might fancy the film, despite the bizarre juxtaposition of the ‘Mr India’ (1987) chartbuster, ‘Kaate Nahi Katte’, in a Budapest nightclub. Strangely, the scantily-clad local girls can mouth the Hindi song and gyrate to it, but the next moment the lead dancer can only talk in their language. Don’t try to fathom it or the plot, just enjoy the Budapest scenery instead.

There is nothing of caliber in the lines spoken or in the music to support the film. But great camerawork by Imre Juhasz and Mohana Krishna and action by Allan Amin are pluses, and strong ones at that. Prasad Sashte’s background score is novel and brilliant.Wish we could say that also about the film. Action at any cost seems to be its maxim.

John Abraham is efficient and does what he needs to, Tahir Raj Bhasin adds complexity to his character. However, much more was needed to rise above the sluggish script.

Overall the film will appeal to those who love to see action and want to see John Abraham doing it. And yes, he is even bulkier this time around.

Force 2 is not earth-shatteringly memorable, but it is fun. Abhinay Deo must share a large part of the credit for that with action director Franz Spilhaus, cinematographers Mohana Krishna and Imre Juhasz who make us participants in the proceedings, Amitabh Shukla & Sanjay Sharma’s sharp editing and the doggedness of John Abraham’s bath towel that does not get dislodged from his waist until the very end of an extended, physically challenging fight.

Force 2 has more style and less substance of the convincing type. It will, therefore, not be a force to reckon with at the box-office. Rather, it will entail losses.

Force 2, despite having a familiar story, has its moments. It is laced with twists where one least expects. It is indeed Deo that does a fantastic job at keeping the film engaging. Additionally, is gives us an antagonist we will always remember.

Packed with action shorn of cliched romance and full of breathless chase sequences though the cobbled streets of Budapest in Hungary, “Force 2” could have passed the action film test with flying colours if not for that pesky thing called storyline.

Two scowling cops bumble their way through a contrived plot…

The twist in tale is as dubious as the film’s feminism, in how it conveniently aligns with the patriotic mood of the moment. But it still doesn’t thaw a hard-hearted viewer like yours truly.

The action is nasty and short, and before any “what just happened” questions can be asked, ACP Yash delivers yet another punch. It’s not quite India’s answer to the Mission: Impossible films, but at least on the thrills front, it’s halfway there.
