Garibon Ka Daata 1989

Garibon Ka Daata is a 1989 Indian Bollywood social film released on May 26, 1989. The film is directed by Ramesh Ahuja, produced by Rajiv Kumar.

The movie starts with Gopi (played by Mithun Chakraborty). He is an artist and lives with his sister and grandmother (played by Lalita Pawar). There enters a girl named as Naina(played by Bhanu Priya) whom he falls in love with.She is a tenant of Shantipur and girl of masterji (played by Satyen Kappu) who writes a post to the ministry. She then starts complaining about the barbarity done in village by zamindar Thakur Chattan Singh (played by Kader Khan) and Sarpanch named as Samjhavan Lal (played by Prem Chopra).

Then after this, the minister sends an executive to the village, but Gopi is misunderstood to be the minister. Chattan Singh and Samjhavan Lal try to provide him the bribe. But Gopi makes them do things for the goodwill of the villagers. Then there is Tulsi (played by Divya Rana), girl of Chattan Singh who is already married in her childhood and is now a widow. She likes Ramu (played by Sumit Saigal) and is in love with him. Then, Thakur regrets to this. They ultimately get marry to each other through Gopi's help. With many raising and lowering tides, the movie puts a quick and smooth execution to the story.
