Speak of the devil named Adam Sandler and two things come to mind. One, more often than not, it's going to be a Happy Madison production that reeks of toilet humour. Two, that it's undoubtedly going to include Rob Schneider. If Sandler's playing the most enviable role, you can be sure that Rob is going to occupy the opposite end of the ring, a nasty place to be. The punches fly thick and fast and it's all in good fun.

Grown Ups will make you laugh. It will make you revel in the small vacation of five friends and their families. But it will also critique the gadget driven, busy American life and highlight the desperate need for a slow down. The film isn’t perfect in the least. There is nothing earth shattering about the script or the performances but what you like about the film is its ability to keep you engaged in its simplicity, male bonding and crass humour.
