Hatimtai Ki Beti is a 1955 Indian Bollywood fantasy film released on Jan 01, 1955. The film is directed by N. Vakil.
The story has nothing to do with history. Old records have registered the names of so many Haims and their names are associated with works of charity. . Our story is also based on charity and nobility of a girl. We have called her Hatimtai ki Beti. Roshanara is her name. She is the younger daughter of Hatim. Her elder sister jahanara is the ruler of Shahbad. She is known for her good work. Her daily routine is to feed and clothe the poor and needy. . Shaitan and Bedi are upset. Badi comes to test Roshanar and Roshan stands the test. On one occasion Badi spreads poison and all the guests including Maleka Jahanara become sick. Roshanara is accused of poisoning and the whole town rises against her. She prays to god to clear her name. Neki comes and the sick recover. Badi suffers another reverase. And she now enrages Jahanara against her sister Roshan. Jahanara ineprisons Roshan. In the meanwhile King of Turan has sent a messenger to jahanara that Roshanara be wedded to his elder prince Salim. Jahanara who has seen the portrait of Salim designs to marry Salim and she accepts the proposal. Here on the other hand Aslam the y ounger Princr of Turan has taken into his head to woo Roshanara. The position becomes complex. Salim resigns in favour of his younger brother Aslam and goes away on the eve of Marriage. Here Jahanara asks Roshan to resigns willingly and goes out of her sisters path. . But man proposes god disposes. And as events turn otu Aslam is married to Jahanara. . When Jahanara sees Aslam on the night of marriage she is very angry and she imprisons Aslam and he marriage party. Friends of Aslam rescue him. In the meantime Salim and Jahanara go through several unpleasant adventures but by grace of god they come out unharmed. . Badi tries various methods to part them but they win in the end. Salim reaches Shahabed and Jahanara imprisons him. Aslam disguised as a Saudagar comes and rescues his elder brother and Jahanara is arrested. Roshan also reaches Shahabad and gets a pardon for her elder sister who is now repentant. . Shah of Turan, his queen all have come to Shahadand to attend the marriage of Salim with Roshanara. . Badi plays a trump card. She brcomes a snake and bites Salim as he comes to receive the blessings of his parents gaiety is transformed into tragedy. Roshanara moves heaven and earth and prays ot God. Her sincertiy and bobility win in the end. Iman and Neki come to her help and her husband Salim is revived. Bedi is defeated. . All are happy and remain happy hereagter singing the praise of God.
