How old are you is a 2014 Indian Malayalam film released on May 17, 2014. The film is directed by Roshan Andrews.
The story starts with a 36 year-old Nirupama Rajeev (Manju Warrier). She is an UD clerk in Revenue Department. She wants to fly to Ireland with her husband, but many organizations reject her job applications. Then after this, one day she comes to know that the President of India wants to communicate with her. But, things don’t turn out as expected as she is depressed. Then after this, her classmate Susan David helps her. She helps her to think out of the box and this gives her a new dimension towards her life. 36 year-old Nirupama Rajeev (played by Manju Warrier) is an UD clerk in Revenue Department. The role of her husband is played by Kunchako Boban as Rajeev Narayanan. They will be seen together for the first time. Her husband Rajeev have strong aspires to emigrate to Ireland, but there was no chance for her to accompany him as many Irish companies turned down her job applications. There is nothing interesting about her life as she leads a life which is determined by her usual daily activities, but she craves for a change. One dramatic day, she has been summoned to the IG's office and she learns that The President of India would like to have a conversation with her. Unfortunately, the meeting went disastrous and herself in the center of Facebook jokes and before long, she watches haplessly as her husband and daughter fly away to Ireland. Her old classmate Susan David (Kanika) consoled and inspired her to look beyond the grey filled life. Nirupama finds herself face to face with almost every situation that an average Malayali woman of her age goes through - from the dread of fast approaching the formidable age of forty, her inability to rise up to her daughter's expectations and the sheer discomfiture at her husband being mistaken for her younger brother.
