Indrajeet is a 1991 Indian Bollywood thriller, action film released on Aug 08, 1991. The film is directed by K. V. Raju, produced by Ramesh Behl under banner named Rose Movies.
Honest and intelligent Police Inspector Indrajeet's life takes a turn for the aggressiveness, when he must handcuff Din Dayal, who is the dad of Shanti, the chick he loves and intends to marry, thus souring their bonding, when she openly defends her dad, and as a result Indrajeet is shifted, and Din Dayal's arrest is reversed. Years after, Indrajeet has retired and is now looking after his adopted girl called as Neelu. Neelu likes Vijay, and Indrajeet arranges their wedding, only to have the couple murdered by his enemies. Since the police are of no assistance, he decides to revenge their deaths on his own, and then he figures out that as one of the muggers is Ajit, the younger bro of Shanti.

Indrajeet (Amitabh) is a retired police officer who had won several awards for his bravery. His only daughter Neelu (Neelam) studies in college and is committed to her boy friend Vijay (Kumar Gaurav). Indrajeet is very fond of Vijay and soon he arranges a marriage between Vijay and his daughter Neelu. But this happiness is short lived. Mahesh (Mahesh Anand), son of minister Sadashiv (Kader), and his three friends who were very famous for eve teasing in college and were behind Neelu since college days rape Neelu and kill her husband. Now Mr Indrajeet the retired police officer is on a mission. Will he be able to take revenge? Will be able to fight against the great political power?
