Jai Jagannath is a 2007 Indian Bollywood devotional film released on Jul 13, 2007. The film is directed by Sabyasachi Mahapatra, produced by Bharat Shah under banner named B. Chintu Mohapatra.
The movie is the story about Jagannath and the way lord Jagannath has been the savior or all the people. The story is dated back when the 'untouchables' were not allowed to pray. They were even not allowed to worship and do rituals to God in the ancient historic periods. Later there comes a point when Sriya - is one of the most important character goes to worship her goddess.The mystery unfolds when Lakshmi is diverted by Lord Jagannath. The main cultprit in this is her brother Balram (played by Balabhadra) because she considers that ending discrimination is the best option. The main strategy here is her worship and therefore, she encourages untouchables to do the worshipping process. Then one day when Laxmi goes away from Jagannath's places both Jagannath and Balram (played by Balabhadra) had to face many troubles in their living such as they don't get food to eat. Laxmi's curses are so vast for her brothers that they starve for 12 years. Soon, they understand her importance and want her back in their living.
