Janatar Aadalat 2008

Janatar Aadalat is a 2008 Indian Bengali drama film released on 2008. The film is directed by Manoj Thakur, produced by Partha Chakraborty.

A berserk movie about the corruption of a local M.L.A, Debi Chowdhury (Dulal Lahiri) and his gang of goons led by Gobra Das (Sumit Ganguly). These people oppress and suppress the local inmates at the drop of a hat. This continuous corruption is challenged by some local youth led by Michael (Jisshu). But as the local officer in charge Mr. Banerjee has been bought by the M.L.A , the youths have a very tough time. The M.L.A attacks Michael's friend's lover Lata and rapes her. Lata ultimately commits suicide out of depression and fear of pregnancy . Bapi (Lata's lover) vows to take take revenge and all his friends unite by his side. Bapi's elder sister Radha (Indrani Dutta) and Michael's girlfriend Mukta (debutant Soma Chakraborty) also vowed to take revenge. The gang stand up against Debi Chowdhury's corruption. But Michael's brother gets killed in this war. The local master (Subhendu Chattopadhay) is also harmed after the protest against Debi Chowdhury's tyranny but things take a turn after the arrival of Police Superintendent (Sabyasachi Chakraborty). He helps Michael, Bapi and the other localities to take revenge on the fascist Debi Chowdhury and his associates. Ultimately Gobra Das gets killed and the corrupted M.L.A Debi Chowdhury and Inspector. Banerjee are beaten up by the public and handed over to the police.
