Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Joradighir Chowdhury Paribar (1966)
This is a story of a jamindar family. Many years ago this family Jora Dighir Chowdhury Raj paribar were involved in robbery. But by the time they left the profession, the Chhote jamindar (Soumitra Chatterjee)of this family did not like those attitude and he loved to go hunting . On the other hand.the jamindar family of Raktodaha there was the only waarish Indrani (Madhabi Mukhopadhya). Both the jamindar families were rivals to each other, the grand father (Kali Bandhopadhya)of chote jamindar fixed his marriage with Indrani. In the mean time Swarup Lathial (Sattya Bandhopadhya) died and chhoto jaminder went to Palasi as he promised to Swarup. There he rescued a village girl Banolota (Sabitri Chatterjee) from a characterless jaminder Parantap Roy (Tarun Kumar) to save the life of Banolola choto jamindar wedded her. Grandfather of chote jaminder did not accept them and Indrani misunderstood them and got married to Parantap Roy. After marriage she realised her mistake. One the other hand, grand father became ill and accepted chote jaminder with his wife. Parantop to take revange Indrani realises her fault and committed suicide. In the mean time, Parantop informed to British and they attacked Joradighi chote jamindar who failed to save his jamidari.
