Story
Kajal (played by Sridevi) weds Raaj (played by Anil Kapoor) who is an engineer by profession. She and her daddy (played by Kader Khan), automatically considers that he is financially very strong and corrupt. But that is not the incident. Raaj does not have anything luxurious. This invokes Kajal to show her true colors, and in her mind she creates a separate universe, where she is dressed in ornaments, is wealthy, and has several cars, and lives luxuriously in a big bungalow. Even with birth of two kids, and several years of wedding, she does not change. When Jahnvi (played by Urmilla Matondkar) Raaj's boss's (played by Saeed Jaffrey) girl comes from abroad into their lives, she falls in love for Raaj. After meeting the greedy wife Kajal, Jahnvi offers a large sum of amount in exchange of Raaj. And Kajal seeing this as her opportunity to wealth and a luxurious life takes this, not knowing that this decision will change the things of her life forever.
