Kabhi Kabhie is a 1976 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Jan 27, 1976. The film is directed by Yash Chopra, produced by Yash Chopra under banner named Yash Raj Films, music composed by Khayyam.

It is the story of Amit Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan) who falls in love with Pooja (Rakhee) but she is married to someone else. Later Amit marries Anjali (Waheeda Rehman) who secretly has a daughter, Pinky from her first marriage. Gradually things take a complicated turn when Pinky comes into picture.

Amit (Amitabh) & Pooja (Rakhee) are lovers, but have to part ways. Amit marries Anjali (Waheeda Rahman) a simple girl & Pooja marries Vijay Khanna (Shashi Kapoor) an architect by profession. Vikram (Rishi Kapoor) is Vijay & Pooja's only son who loves Pinky (Nitu Singh), daughter of Vijay's friend. Both the families accept the relation of Vicky & Nitu. But the story takes a turn when Pinky discovers that she is an adopted child. Her whole world turns upside down. Pinky goes to meet her biological mother, who turns out to be Anjali. Vicky decides to follow his love to the end of the world to be her support system. How Amit reacts when he learns about his wife's past and what happens when he himself meets his ex-lover is what the film deals with.
