Kalabaaz 1977

Kalabaaz is a 1977 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1977. The film is directed by Ashok Roy, produced by Yash Kohli.

Vijay Kumar (Dev Anand) a circus artist, runs a circus in Mumbai. One day, Sapru Sahab (Pradeep Kumar) and his daughter Radha (Zeenat Aman) come to Mumbai to hire a circus. Suddenly a leopard comes out from its cage and attacks Radha. Vijay Kumar saves Radha 's life. Soon they start liking each other. Sapru Saab, Radha and Vijay go to Pahadpur's temple where they met the priest. The temple has a very expensive idol worth Rs.2 crores and there is no security in the temple. Some time later, some goons attack the temple but the priest escapes with the idols. However, he is caught by some other goons. Vijay and his friend Mangi (Asrani) work hard to get back the priest and the idols.

Vijay, an expert trapeze ariste, is a nonbeliever in God. Radha, who is also a trapeze artiste is a firm believer in God. In a dangerous trapeze feat Radha meets with near-to death accident for which Vijay holds himself responsible and attributes his non-belief in God as the reason for the same.
