The story starts with Kamala Rani (played by Archana) is a typical call girl from the 1950’s. She leads a depressed and lonely life. She decides to keep herself and dreams that her empty life would be fulfilled by an honest man. One fine day, she gets a visitor known as Suryanaraya(played by Sivaji), who comes to her house after caught in heavy rain. Kamala starts considering that, he is one among the many who has come for her. Suryanarayana then tells kamala that he is not after her body, but has come here to meet his best friend. Both of them meet each other and soon fall in love. The next morning, Suri promises Kamala that he would get away from her depressed and lonely life.
