Kanch Kata Heere 1966

Kanch Kata Heere is a 1966 Indian Bengali comedy,drama,family film released on 1966. The film is directed by Ajoy Kar.

The story starts when Subrata Gupta comes back from America after finishing his higher studies to india after seven years. Everybody says that, industrialist Mr. Ambika gupta is a proud father. Subrata has not changed though he was in America for seven years. He believes in ethnic Bengali culture and values. Subrata meets his friend Sachin Mukherjee. He is in love with Sachin's sister Uma. After few days Subrata joins his father's business. But he doesn't feel comfortable. He tries to compromise with the situation. Subrata's father Mr. Ambika Gupta feels unhappy about his behavior. Subrata finds out some discrepancies in their business. He protests against these. But his father doesn't agree with him. Subrata's mother tries to make them understand. But the situation doesn't change. Subrata comes out from his father's business and house. He applies for and gets a central government job in Delhi. And here Mr. Ambika stands and wins the election. Suddenly Subrata comes to know about a scandal in which his father is also involved. He gets the charge of investigation of that scandal. Subrata starts investigation and his father comes to know this from Uma. Ambika Gupta falls ill and he dies.
