Story
There was no shortage of anything in Narendra's life. With wife Saroj and son Shyamal he had a very lovely happy life. But Gourikanta introduced him to gambling and within a short time he was utterly ruined. Even with the help of Ranalal, Gourikanta robbed Narendra's last 500 rupees. Gourikanta's gambling den was unknown to the police. When Narendra's faithfull servant Madan informed about that police then detective Binay started his investigation. But before police could catch Gourikanta he was stopped and killed by Ranalal. After some time Narendra came out with a dragger in his hand. He thought that Gourikanta was alive. The moment he was about to stab Gourikanta police came and hit Narendra with a stick in his head and he lost his senses. Binay went out to call the police force. Narendra's senses came back and he fled away to Raniganj. He took shelter in Zamindar Nabinkrishna's house. Ranalal also fled away and started to live in his Kashipur garden house with his wife Mohini. After a few days with the help of Nabinkrishna Narendra established a new office in Calcutta. He changed his to Rajaram. The creditors made Saroj's life miserable. She went to commit suicide with his little son Shyamal, but Mohini resisted that. Narendra came to Kashipur with an intention to buy a garden house and suddenly he found Madhu and Shyamal there. Secondly he gave Madhu a lot of money by which Madhu repaid all the loans to the creditors and he took back Soroj and Shyamal to their own house. Mukunda, a worker of Nabinkrishna, tried to work to create a problem for Narendra. One day Binay came to arrest Mukunda in change of taking currency note and these he found Narendra. Binay arrested Narendra in charge of Gourikanta's murder. Ranalal when got the news of police raid in his garden house he tried to escape in a motor boat. Binay followed him and arrested him.
