Kartoos 1999

Kartoos is a 1999 Indian Bollywood action film released on May 07, 1999. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala under banner named Base Industries Group.

On May 1st 1993 a bomb busts in Gangaram Park in Bombay, killing more than 150 individuals, many of whom are kids. ACP Jay Suryavanshi is given this case; quick arrests are made of four persons. Jagat Jogia is a terrorist, claims authority for these killings, but the police are not able to arrest him as he is now shifted in London in England. Jay tells this matter with his senior, and together they hire dreaded killer, Jeet Balraj gives him a name called Raja, save him from death­bed, promise him independence in exchange for killing Jagat Jogia, to which Jeet agrees. Jeet is given money, passport and living accommodation in London, and he re­shifts. Upon his arrival, he clashes with Manpreet Kaur, and both of them fall in love with each other. With someone to encourage him in life, Jeet decides to give up his past life only to find out that not only Jayhas other things for him, but Jagat is also on the search for him ­ and both their plans are the same ­ his death!
