Kasam 1988

Kasam is a 1988 Indian Bollywood action film released on Apr 15, 1988. The film is directed by Umesh Mehra, produced by Ashok Thakeria.

The story starts with Mangal Singh. Mangal Singh is the head of a village. Mangal Singh earns the profit by selling cocaine. When Police Inspector Kisna figures out that he goes to stay incognito with the people to try and talk them out of drugs and alcohols. He is then falling in liking with the daughter of Mangal Singh named as Savi. So, he proposes her and then gets marry to her. When the time comes he considers Mangal and the villagers to give off all the drugs to the police. When they continue to do so, the police are even amazed, and to Kisna's terror and disbelief a large number of the villagers are merged down. In this battle many of people die. People have to struggle for their lives. The villagers no longer have faith on Kisna and drive him out. The police then take away Kisna; he is tried in Court and jailed to several years in jail. Years go by; Kisna gets away from prison and gets back to the village. But, years after nothing are same and everything is changed. He has a boy who refuses to accompany him; the villagers name him anything that they want to call. But, this doesn’t create confusion for Savi and Mangal and they don’t pay heed to this. But, there are people who want him to get killed.
