Kellafate 2010

Kellafate is a 2010 Indian Bengali action,comedy,romance film released on Dec 10, 2010. The film is directed by Pijush Saha, produced by Pijush Saha.

Shibu, a small town boy grows up to be a very starry eyed boy who wants to be a superstar. He wants to be a superstar, but sets out for Kolkata to work as a project machine operator in a fair.Over there he comes across a girl Pallabi one day who becomes the girl of his dreams. Incidentally he saves her from some goons who had been sent by the Home Minster’s son.Pallabi’s friend had been raped and killed by the Minister’ son and Pallabi had organized a huge protest with some student organizations. The Minister’ son had seen Pallabi later on in at a wedding and had decided to marry her.Pallabi’s father had been framed on false bribery charges and for her father’s sake, she had decided to get married to Bobby, the minister’ son.Shibu decides to save her life and take care of her.

But one day Shibu takes her to the Home Minister’s house and hands her over to Bobby.Pallabi is shocked at Shibu’s behaviour and also Shibu becomes Bobby’s right hand man. He asks her to win over Pallabi with love instead of force and Bobby completely changes into a chicken from the next day.Shibu and Pallabi carry on their romance right under his eyes without him realizing anything. What is Shibu’s real intention? Is it really to save Pallabi after Battling against all forces? Does he become a real life hero like his reel screen heroes? That remains to be seen.

Sibu, the son of a Projection Machine Operator of a village cinema hall, dreamt to be a hero and came to Kolkata. In a fair he saved Pallabi from some gangsters. Pallabi organized a massive protest against the Home Minister as he tried to save his son, who raped and killed Pallabi’s best friend. To resist her the Minister decided to get Pallabi married with his rapist and murderer son by force. Hearing this Sibu fled away with Pallabi and promised her to protect from the Home Minister. They moved from one place to another and Pallbi began to trust and then, loved Sibu. But after a few days Sibu handed over Pallabi to the Minister. Pallabi became a captive in the Minister’s fort.
