Kenaram Becharam 1986

Kenaram Becharam is a 1986 Indian Bengali comedy,drama,family film released on 1986. The film is directed by Arabinda Mukhopadhyay.

Becharam was an old man. No body cares about him much. One day surprising every body he went out from his house. His son started searching for him but could not find him. Becharam did not come back ever and always remembered how he was insulted every time. Becharam's married daughter also got the information about her father's missing and was very tense. In the mean time Becharam tried to commit suicide, but was saved by a road side man called Nagen Panja. Nagen's profession was to supply witness in court in return of money. He found in the news paper that an advertisement was given about Becharam that anyone who will find him out he will get Rs.1000 and therefore he started searching for him. In the mean time Becharam meets with a newly married couple who took him home. On the other hand Becharam's daughter came from Allahabad. The married couple took care of Becharam and he was a bit happy. On the other hand his daughter started quarelling with Deepa about her father and also about the ornaments. On the other hand Nagen Panja found a man who was same in looks of Becharam Chaterjee. Nagen insisted this person to go to Kolkata as Becharam Chaterjee and he agreed. In the mean while the real Becharam helped Kesto in his busniess. When the duplicate Becharam came to Kolkata he was very much praised and taken care but 5000 Rs. was not immediately handed over to Nagen Panja. Suddenly in an incident the duplicate Becharam was identified but forcefully stayed in the house by Nagen. By the time the villaga rich man came and threatend Kesto to return his money or else to make Becharam out of his house. Becharam went away. On the other hand a leader called Nera Talukdar suggested Shubhendu to agree the duplicate Becharam as his father to get away all the ornaments from the bank. In between the real Becharam came to his original house, every body was suprised to see him back. He took away his pass book and the locker keys of his bank with his wife's photo and went to Kesto's house again, he paid up all Kesto's dues and lived happily with them.
