Khul Ja Sim Sim is a 1956 Indian Bollywood fantasy film released on Jan 01, 1956. The film is directed by Nanubhai Vakil.
Behram the leader of the forty thieves planned to kill Alibaba because the latter had discoverd the secret of their hidden treasure and was now its proud possessor. In the guise of an old merchant he mananged to be a guest of Alibaba. . Margina, a favourable and faithful maid of Alibaba, who also loved him came to know Behrams plan. While performing a dagger-dance she stabbed the guest and also managed to kill his mates, who were hiding in the barrels supposed to containg oil. Yaqoot, a slave, carried away Behrams body to put it infront of a house in which he lived two jobless funny persons Dilgeer and Nazakat. . Wounded badly, Behram was unconscious and not dead. He managed to drag himself to a nearby jungle where he confronted a saintly old man, who had often asked him to refrain from theft, robbery and evil deeds. Before breathing his last Bheram asked the old man to pray for him and to convey his message to Alibaba, that he should give away his wealth to poor and the needy. Wealth acquired by ill means does not good to anybody. . Newly acquired wealth made Alibaba too busy in worldy pleasure to pay any heed to the pious old man, instead he did not hesitate even to strike him. Margina was impressed and tried to bring Alibaba on the righ path, but was disappointed. . Once, while returning from the treasure Alibaba saw princess Zar Nigar caravan encamped in the jungle. Wazir Jafar, incharge of the caravan wanted to kill the princess, when Alibaba intruded and saved her. Wazir Jafar was arrested and brought before the king. One night amid rejoinings the princess confessed her love to Alibaba. Fallen for the princess he now paid little attention to Margina who had ever remained faithful, and one day made her leave his house. The kind of old man came to her rescue and assured her that the day is not far when Alibaba shall to repent. In absence of Margina when Alibaba lifted the glass of wine, flames of fire rose out of it and burnt his face and hands. Not only friends but also the princess turned her face.
