Justice Balwant Khanna stays a comfortable lifestyle with his soulmate, Devika, and two sons, Sanjay and Jai. He has placed a lot of trust in his sons hoping that they will marry girls of equal status. But, Sanjay falls in love with an orphan girl; by the name of Rashmi and marries her. Balwant accepts her as his daughter-in-law, but tells Jai that there will be no more orphan daughter-in-laws entered in the Khanna mansion. Then things break when Mr. Kapoor and Mrs. Kapoor arrive to fix the marriage of their daughter with Sanjay. Chaos gives way to distraction when the Kapoors claim that Rashmi is their daughter. While Devika agrees Rashmi, Balwant takes his own duration to accept her as his daughter-in-law. Then Jai tells that he has married a girl named Neha, the daughter of Gopal Das. Shortly Rashmi invites her friend, Riya and her hubby Ajay to live with them as paying guests. It is then total misconceptions takes over the Khanna household as Devika tells that Balwant has been tracing on the two young couples via a ladder, while Balwant figures that both boys have been banding wives with each other.
