Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Kuheli (1971)

Kuheli is a 1971 Indian Bengali suspense thriller, horror, suspense film released on 1971. The film is directed by Abhimanyu, music composed by Hemanta Mukherjee.

Sumita comes to look after Biswajit’s little daughter Debashree. She notices that Debashree’s dead mother, Sandhya, calls her child every night. Biswajit is anxious about his daughter. Sumita starts to follow Debashree. She comes to know that Satya, Biswajit’s family physician, wanted Biswajit’s property. He had brought Sandhya, an orphan, to Biswajit and they had married. Satya tried to provoke Sandhya to kill her husband but she had refused. So, Satya killed her. After that he brought Sandhya’s twin sister and disguised her as Sandhya’s spirit to disturb Biswajit psychologically. When Sumita discloses everything, Satya is arrested by the police. Biswajit marries Sandhya’s poor sister.
