Story
Vaidehi (played by Manisha Koirala) gets wed to Raghuvir (played by Jackie Shroff), an NRI. Suffering the anguish of an unhappy wedding, she decides to run away from him when she learns that she is expecting and he wants to take the child away from her. In her hunt for freedom, she meets Mythili (played by Mahima Chaudhury) a bride-to-be and a mother-to -be, Janaki (played by Madhuri Dixit) a theatre performer and Ramdulari (played by Rekha) a village midwife - all of whom are fatality of male zealotry.
