Lakshmanrekha 1991

Lakshmanrekha is a 1991 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Dec 27, 1991. The film is directed by Sunil Sikand, produced by Pran.

This is the story of Amar Sharma (played by Naseeruddin Shah) and Vicky (played by Jackie Shroff). Amar and Vicky are two close friends. Amar, by profession is a police officer  and Vicky is a career crook, who has no respect for the Indian law nor India. But destiny has a bitter twist for Amar. One day, when his father named as Kishanlal Sharma (played by Pran) is murdered right in front of his eyes by Birju (played by Danny Denzongpa), who is the don and he is unable to con and imprison Birju, due to false happenings. Amar attempts to revenge his dad's death by trying to brutally kill Birju on his yacht, but is severely slapped, flapped overboard, and left for killing. He survives and arrives to finish his task, only to be resisted by Vicky, who is now a police executive, and will not allow Amar to take the law in his own hands.Now, Amar and Vicky has things in hands and they plan a secret mission to trap Birju and kill him brutally.

He survives and returns to finish his job, only to be confronted by Vicky, who is now a police inspector, and will not permit Amar to take the law in his own hands
