Lapandav is a 1993 Indian Marathi drama, comedy, romance film released on Mar 16, 1993. The film is directed by Sharbani Deodhar, produced by Sachin Parekar.
The story starts with a lazy gymnasium lives a wealthy life in Pune. He lives with his advocate wife and his college-going daughter. She is in relationship with a Corporator’s son, Vikram. Abhijeet’s friend is also living a happy life with his family too. Both the families get together on every Saturday to spend the evenings together. Things change for Abhijeet after he finds a love letter and he suspects that it must have been written for his wife.
A lazy owner of a gymnasium, Abhijeet Samarth lives a wealthy lifestyle in Pune along with his advocate wife, Asavari, and a collegian daughter, Rasika, who is going steady with a wealthy Corporator's son, Vikram Malgude. Abhijeet's friend, Advocate Anantrao Mahasabdey also lives a wealthy lifestyle with his wife, Ulka, a son, Asim, a school-going daughter Chinni and his widowed mother. Both Abhijeet and Anantrao along with Asavari get together every Saturday to enjoy some drinks and share poetry. Their harmonious lifestyle changes hilariously, when Abhijit comes across a love-letter addressed to his wife and starts to suspect that she is having an affair.
