Main Chup Rahungi is a 1962 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1962. The film is directed by A. Bhim Singh, produced by A. V. M under banner named A. V. M. Productions.

Narayan works as a laborer on the farmland owned by businessman, Ratan Kumar, in Ramnagar, who also has a rubber estate in Singapore. Although Narayan was an ex-convict, Ratan had assisted him getting a job, some land, and a small house where he now lives with his grown daughter, Gayetri, who used to work as a tutor/teacher. While bringing him his lunch one afternoon, Gayetri faints, and a woman tells him that she is pregnant. A shocked Narayan tries to find out who the father is, but Gayetri refuses to answer. He is all ready to beat the truth out, when Ratan intervenes, asks Narayan to take some money and re-locate, which Narayan gratefully does. They do re-locate and Gayetri gives birth to a baby boy, Narayan takes him to an orphanage donated by Ratan himself, and leaves him there, he returns home and lets Gayetri know that her child was still-born. Kamal the only son of the zamindar of Basantpur, marries a poor but charming girl Gayathri. Before he can make public his marriage he has to go to Singapore on a family business. Days pass and Gayathri discovers that she is pregnant. Her father threatens to kill her but she refuse to divulge the name of the person responsible. Eventually, the kind-hearted zamindar helps them to re-settle in another village. When Gayathri delivers a child, her father places in in an orphanage and Gayathri takes up a teachers job at the local school. When Kamal returns he is shocked to discover what has happened. He assumes that Gayathri has betrayed him. One day, Kamal is asked to preside over a school function where he meets the orphan Shyam. Kamal and Shyam grow so close to one another that the boy begins to call Kamal father. In the meantime, the zamindar has fixed Kamals marriage to Rajini, who does not like Shyam.
