Mall Road 1962

Mall Road is a 1962 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1962. The film is directed by V. Dablish.
One night, when the whole town was asleep, some decoits broke into the bunglow of Seth Beharilal, situated at Mall Road. On hearing the sound of their foot-steps, Mala, the elder daughter of Seth, suddenly woke up and as the decoits were trying to escape, she fired a gun-shot which wounded one of them. Seth and his younger daughter Usha also got up on hearing the sound of gun-shot. Usha phoned the police and the investigations started. . The decoits, one of whom had bee injured, also became the sworn enemies of the Seth and family. . Next morning, Umesh who was a famous young detective of the town, read about this incident in the newspaper and he felt the case quite interesting. . One day, as Mala, the elder daughter of Seth, was coming home from market with her servant, was kidnapped by the decoits. Umesh, who was friendly with the police inspector Dayal, went to police station to enquire about the case. There he met Seth Beharilal and his daughter Usha. Seth asked help from in rescuing Mala from the clutches of the decoits. Umesh determined to rescue Mala and bring the decoits to book. Umesh wanted Usha to accompany him in this task. Though Seth was afraid because he might not lose Usha also, but with the the persuation of Umesh and Usha, he became ready to let Usha accompany Umesh. . Umesh & Usha begain their search. In disguise they visited several notorious places. Ultimately they reached the place of the decoits. They informed the police and the police raided their hide-out. But decoits had already left the place. . Umesh and Usha continued the trail. They came across many typical and mysterious characters.
