Mangal Dada 1986

Mangal Dada is a 1986 Indian Bollywood action film released on Aug 01, 1986. The film is directed by Ramesh Gupta, produced by Manu Karamchandani.

The story is all about Mangal dada (played by Sunil Dutt). He is the local dada of the busti and is respected by each and everyone in the busti, because he always stands up against any injustice and is always there to help and save them. Mangal Dada’s life takes a new mode with the introduction of a lady love in his life, Lakshmi (played by Reena Roy). She is a dweller of the basti and a street performer. Laxmi doesn’t know that Mangal likes her and is unaware of his emotions. With the further story, Pratap (played by Amjad Khan) who is a business tycoon has been eyeing the land of the bastiwallas. So, to stop him Mangal Dada takes the lead and he is the pillar of obstacle. So he sends a few of his crooks to beat up Mangal and tries to kill him. The crooks come across Lakshmi and start teasing her and they are on the verge of raping her. Mangal happens to be there and starts slapping them up and just when he is about to kill one of them, the police gets in and he is arrested. The story is action packed with drama and thriller.
