Mannat is a 2006 Indian Bollywood romance film released on 2006. The film is directed by Girbit Grewal, produced by Anuradha Prasad , music composed by Jaidev Kumar.
This is the story of 1985. The story starts with Punjab and an army officer named as Nihal Singh falls in love with a village girl named as Prasin Kaur. Then the movie shows their romantic drives and also this romance is converted into their marriage. Later after this, the destiny has something else stored for both of them due to which these two are separated. One day, Nihal needs to go the Siachen Glacier because he had been received a call from the army. As a result of this, he has to leave his pregnant wife under the care of his neighbors. But, due to certain complications, Person dies leaving the child all alone. Later after this, her neighbor steals the child because she is childless. Now after this, a twist in the story haunts army officer’s life. After the completion of his task, he then starts searching for his daughter. The movie is a combination of different flavors and spices all added together into that single unit. Based on the true incident this story is all about love, passion and hatred.
