Mast 1999

Mast is a 1999 Indian Bollywood romance, musical, fantasy, comedy film released on Oct 15, 1999. The film is directed by Ram Gopal Varma, produced by Ram Gopal Varma.

Krishnakant Mathur (played by Aftab Shivdasani) akka "kittu", functions in a restaurant, which is located right opposite the house of famous movie artist, Mallika (played by Urmilla Matondkar). Kittu simply boy, is only a fan but is infatuated by Mallika, almost to the point of passion. He does get to clash her at Mehboob Studios, and speak with Mallika, the actress herself. Before he could finish ending with her, he is rudely interfered by Tolluram who is Manisha's uncle (played by Govind Namdeo), who insults and subdues him and tells him to leave. Kittu is amazed at this, and gets appalled and concerned about Mallika, when he learns that her life is being maintained by her uncle, aunty and cousin sister. One day he founds her uncle beating her up, he breaks into her home, violates the uncle, and kidnaps Mallika. The next day after, there is gossip in the media when everyone learns that an actress has been kidnapped. The police get engaged. Kittu decides to take Mallika to his home to his mom and dad, and does the same. He hides her in his home, but decides not to tell anyone in his tribe about Mallika. How long Kittu will engage in doing this? Is this what Mallika needs, or is she being taken advantage of again the situation? How long will a famous artist hide out without anyone else coming to know her?
