Story
The story of MAXIMUM includes two of Mumbai Police's top encounter specialists who are always engaged in the fight for controlling and on the word one-upmanship. This fight then lands up to a complex maze of politics, fake encounters and bad money. The two counter specialists are Pundit (Sonu Sood) and Inamdar (Naseeruddin Shah) who try to beat each other for the sake of power.
There is sequence of planning and conspiracy to win the game of this fight. There is sequence of events that takes place. Sequence of events like: Inamdar and his superiors frame a false case against Pundit and he gets suspended; Fire shots in Supriya’s and Pundit’s car; Supriya’ s killing; Tiwari’s confession of Killing Supriya; Pundit’s enquiring to Subodh(his superior); Pandit’s contact with the reporter; Inamdar’s shooting at Pandit; Pundit sends off his daughter with his brother and the reporter to catch the train; An open shootout follows in which both Pundit and Inamdar are shot and Pandit’s death are the main highlights for the movie. There are tremendous events that are taking place during the movie and this makes the film worth watching.
