Mee Sindhutai Sapkal is a 2010 Indian Marathi drama film released on Nov 12, 2010. The film is directed by Anant Mahadevan, produced by Bindiya Sachin Khanolkar.
The film is a biopic to Sindhutai Sapkal. She is a social activist. She was born in Wardha. She was married at the age of 12 to a man who was 20 years elder to her. Then, he blames her for the infidelity and this creates problems in her life. She then decides to start a mission which provides shelter to homeless kids. This movie shows her journey of how thing happened with her and how she fought brave heartedly with all the situations.

Born in a poor, cattle grazing family in Wardha as Chindi (Ragamuffin), Sindhutai was first married off at the age of 12 to a man who was 20 years elder to her and then abandoned by her husband on charges of infidelity. Travelling through the backwaters of Maharashtra, the braveheart never abandoned hope and courage and ended up in San Jose on a fund-raising mission for her orphanage which still provides shelter to homeless kids.
