The film starts with the problems of a common person. The film starts with Dinkar Maruti Bhosale, who is living a life full of troubles. His daughter wants to change her name because this doesn’t suit her, his son wants to get admission in the best engineering college, his wife is always greedy for earning money and he, he is always surrounded with many troubles. Well this is not enough, to add more he even has few politicians who are interested in auctioning his house and who want to misuse his place. Now one day, he goes to a bar to drink and later he is thrown out of the bar just because he had drunk a lot. So, when he is sleeping, he is haunted by his past life. In his life, there enters Shivaji Maharaj who narrates each and every incident that had taken place in their life. Shivaji Maharaj teaches him the ultimate lesson of his life and he gives him their precious sword and gives him the mission that he needs to complete while he is on this earth. From the very next day, Dinkar Marurti Bhosale decides to work on the path which has been shown by Shivaji Maharaj. Soon, his daughter is selected for a film as an actress in the film and many good things come to him. Dinkar’s son initially fails to get admission in the top engineering college because they seek donations from the parents. So, Dinkar decides to expose the politician’s demand for donations by recording his conversation on the tape. He exposes those harsh realities and soon he is apple of everyone’s eyes. Now Dinkar solves the problems of their property and he decides to construct a scheme on his place. He receives appreciation from the city and people consider him as his idol. Slowly, by seeing his popularity, the politician hires few men to kill him. But even in that case, Dinkar takes the case under his mission and he makes those men realize of their guilt. Now even they are with him and slowly he is now the idol of the city and everyone wants him in the politics. The film ends on a compromising note with Dinkar making an oath in public about the wellness of the society. The films highlighting point is the song, which is played when Shivaji Maharaj narrates the story of his life to Dinkar. It makes you feel proud about the things that had taken place in the past Maharashtra. The film’s leading character Sachin Khedkar is just out of his way to depict the exact situations every common man faces. The film has got many wow moments which shouldn’t be missed by anyone. The film’s character Shivaji Maharaj played by Mahesh Manjrekar is finest in his world. The film has got many interesting plots which makes you realize how to fight with the situations.
