Miss 1933 is a 1933 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1933. The film is directed by Chandulal J. Shah, produced by Chandulal J. Shah under banner named Ranjit Studios, music composed by Ustad Zandekhan.
Gohar in a classic modernisation melodrama exploring the consequence of female autonomy. Kusum (Gohar) rejects her avaricious uncles decision to marry/sell her to a rich man and is adopted by Seth Kisandas (Adajania). She meets his urbanised son Jayant (E.Bilimoria) and his friends Ramesh (Yakub) and Kishori (Mehtab). The love story of Kusum and Jayant explores the complications ensuing from a womans freedom to choose.
